I am experimenting with natural resources such as soil, clay, wax, pigments and collect manmade materials in nature to create paintings and objects which I intertwine for contemplation as one.

Manmade vs. Nature.

The fish eats the plastic and we eat the fish.

I  examine the circle of pollution and overconsumption to raise awareness by setting up scenes, compositions, photos,  installations with audio or text in a prodigious, humorous way on a serious matter.

Icelandic nature.

Strong but ever so fragile.

A storm can blow you away.

A snowflake melts in your hand.

The hot springs keep you warm.

The wind freezing cold paints your cheeks rosy red.

The power and beauty, the diversity and fragility displayed /mirrored /stored in some of my artwork in progress on display in the Sím Gallery.

"Nature has its own language, experiences and consciousness. It tells us where we come from and what we do on the road ahead. "                                                                            Erling Kagge, Polar Explorer
